Heirloom Rose

4.13 Heirloom Rose 1

I've always thought Heirloom rose was aptly named. The smoky grey-ish pink rose looks so old-fashioned to me.

The pinks give way to lavender when it's fully bloomed.

Other garden updates.

1 year ago today, peanut butter and white chocolate drizzlecorn.
2 years ago today, my second-youngest uncle's wife's bun rieu (Vietnamese shrimp and crab noodle soup), packed to go.

  1. Y'know, your photos make me wonder if my 'Heirloom' is really 'Heirloom'. The initial color looks familiar, but the form is different. I like the almost lavender tones as your rose opens.

  2. Nikki,
Or maybe it's my rose that's off? :P
